Festival and Procession of the Verge dels Dolors – Bellpuig (l’Urgell)

The Festival of the Verge dels Dolors (Our Lady of Sorrow) is celebrated on the Friday before Good Friday and there will be associated acts throughout the weekend. Mass, celebration of The Word, in honour of the Sorrow of Our Lady, ringing of church bells, procession of the Armats (Roman soldiers) and the gathering of all the passos (themed floats) and the Great Procession of Penitence (10 pm).

The “Tres Tombs” (Three Circuits) Festival and Food and Art Market of Anglesola (l’Urgell)

A festival that revolves around the world of horses, knights and carts. There will be demonstrations of horse riding and cart driving, with the traditional “Three Tombs” (Three Circuits) on Sunday. This entails making 3 trips round the village, where you will be able to see horses, carriages and carts, and also enjoy displays of handicrafts and food products.

Christmas Market

The Christmas fair hosts stalls selling Christmas products (nougat, nativity scenes, Christmas decorations, tree stumps, craft products, etc.) and an exhibition of nativity scene animals (rabbits, roosters, young goats, donkeys, etc.). There will also be Christmas workshops and a breakfast including melted chocolate.

24th Fair of Artists and Traditional Activities

A great showcase for art, design and craftsmanship from the “comarques” (local districts) of Lleida, with more than a hundred exhibitors. The event offers a point where visitors can make original purchases and also a multidisciplinary gathering of art and artists: painting, drawing, ceramics, sculpture, design, jewellery, photography, metal forging, interior design, handicrafts and textile products make up the wide range of disciplines represented.
