Aplec (Gathering) of La Font de Talló – Bellver (la Cerdanya)

A popular festival which is celebrated every year on the Monday afternoon of Pascua Florida (Florida Easter), at the Font de Talló fountain, behind the Monterrós hill. In the morning, there will be a solemn mass at the basilica of Santa Maria de Talló and the dancing of “sardanes” (traditional Catalan folk dancing). In the afternoon, there will be “caramelles” (Easter religious songs) and “corrandes” (folk dancing) at the fountain.

Carnival

Great Carnival Procession through the village streets with music played by pipers. This will be followed by a dance, with traditional music, at the municipal sports centre and then chocolate and sponge cake for everyone (if the current public health situation allows this).
