The route for the Vertical modality is very special as it follows a ski slope. This allows all the participants to push themselves to the limit throughout the climb. It also makes this a very attractive test for participants and spectators alike.

The Vertical course is the same for all of the categories.

The starting point of the race is located at an altitude of 2,020m, at the base of the ski resort, while the finishing post is at Coll de Roies, at 2,520m.
