The United Nations declared the 8th March “International Women’s Day” to promote equality of opportunity. To commemorate this day, the Service of Information and Advice for Women (SIAH) of the Conselh Generau of Aran has organised the Women’s Race. A race open to women, men, children which can be completed either running or walking along a 5 km urban circuit through the streets of Vielha.
