The Montgai Accordion Festival was launched in 2009 to complement the celebrations of Catalonia’s National Day on 11 September. Accordion enthusiasts from all over Catalonia gather in Montgai to play and enjoy an afternoon of good music. First there is a community lunch, followed by the accordion performances.
