This is the most emblematic festival of El Pallars Sobirà and has been recognised as part of the Intangible Heritage of Humanity. On this night, the big “falla” (trunk) will be planted in the middle of the village square. This will be the signal that the “fallaires” (log carriers) are waiting for before beginning their descent from the “Faro” (base point).
