A unique festival which celebrates the end of Carnival. The essence of this event is the public cooking of a type of rural “escudella” (soup-stew) called “Ranxo” and its subsequent blessing, tasting and sharing amongst everyone present. Over 12,000 rations are served. This is accompanied by a market of traditional craft and food products from the local area and other parts of Catalonia.
