“Lleida Canta pel Romànic” (Lleida Sings for its Romanesque Art and Architecture)
Lleida Canta” is a unique gathering of choirs from Ponent (Western Catalonia) and other parts of Catalonia. It is a gathering that is organised at different venues within the territory every year and under a different motto. In 2024, it marks the joint commemoration of the 900th anniversary of the consecration of the churches of Sant Climent and Santa Maria of Taüll with a unique concert.

Around 30 choirs will go to the different churches in the Vall de Boí on the morning of 28th April to combine music, Romanesque art and architecture, and heritage under the slogan “Lleida Canta pel Romànic“. There will be different songs and explanations about the Romanesque heritage of the valley at each of the churches.

This activity aims to offer a festive day aimed at both the residents of the municipality and at people visiting the Vall de Boí. It will close with communal singing outside the church of Sant Climent de Taüll.

Sunday, 28th April

At different population centres in the Vall de Boí.
