Catalonia’s first fair dedicated exclusively to the almond is back for its nineteenth year. The event includes an exhibition of almond varieties with information on their processing and use in the food industry. There are also demonstrations of new almond-growing techniques, a market selling local handicrafts and produce, and competitions to see who can carry a sack of almonds to the top of the bell tower the fastest.
