The Easter Festival affirms the distinctive and characteristic personality which derive from it being dedicated to Catalan classical music and everything that surrounds it.

In a year in which the 50th anniversary of the death of Pau Casals is being commemorated, Cervera’s Easter Festival could not forget this milestone. Two common threads run through this year’s programme: the music and life of Pau Casals and the work of exiled and émigré musicians from different periods.

In this edition, visitors will find 10 productions that crystallize in 15 concerts given at different points in the town of Cervera. There will also be screenings of documentaries, conferences, and the exhibition “One Hundred Years of the Work of the Popular Songwriter of Catalonia”
